Before Sara had even started to sing her cover of Billie Eilish's "Lovely," Simon already looked impressed with the hopeful. The latest winner of the Golden Buzzer, 13-year-old singer Sara from Poland, seemed to captivate Simon (who is known for being hard to please) almost immediately. During season 16, six coveted Golden Buzzers were awarded, to performers including the late singer Nightbirde, Victory Brinker, and the World Taekwondo Demonstration Team. Naturally, it isn't easy to get just one "Yes" from a judge on AGT, let alone the Golden Buzzer. Each judge is allowed one Golden Buzzer per season, although they aren't required to give it out. The Golden Buzzer, which was first introduced on America's Got Talent season 9, allows the auditionee to skip all the way to the season's live shows. ![]()
